Agriculture plays a vital role in the overall development Nepalese economy. Growth in this sector is dependent on the availability of timely and adequate finance.
Agricultural credit by commercial banks increased by 1.1% over previous month despite growth in credit by 0.6%. This led to marginal increase in ratio of agricultural loan to total loan.
