External trade of Nepal up to mid-Feb 2021 (for the first seven months of FY 2020/021) show marginal increase in foreign trade due to COVID-19 pandemics. Imports remained stagnant whilst export increased by 7.6% over the corresponding period of previous year. Trade imbalance decreased by 0.7% over the corresponding previous year. India dominates the external trade for the first seven months of FY 2020/021 representing 67% of total trade.
