Soybean oil leads the Nepalese export up to Baishakh 2078 (mid-May 2021). Amid adverse effect in movements of people due to COVID-19, total export of major commodities increased for the first ten months of FY 2020/021 by 100.8% over previous year mainly due to increase in export of Soybean Oil, Cardamom and Pashmina. Value addition in soyabean oil is not significant. If we exclude soybean oil data, growth in export of major commodities turns out to be 30%.
