Nepalese imports up to Chaitra 2076 shows declining trend. Import of major commodities for the first nine months of FY 2019/020 decreased by 12.2% over previous year mainly due to decrease in import of MS Billet, vehicle and Petroleum Products. Significant fall in import of MS Billet is not good sign for the economy. Industries use MS Billet for rolling of TMT Re-Bars and various other structural steel products. So, this is not good sign for development of the nation.
